Project October is my second attempt at a roguelike written in Python.

My main issue with the genre is the lack of games that take place during modern times, as most of the popular ones (ADOM, DCSS) are fantasy themed.  While that's perfectly okay (both games have a huge fanbase) I wanted go in a different direction entirely by making something more action-oriented. To do this, I'm taking the focus from close-range combat with swords, knives, etc, to mid to long-range gun fights.

Quark Paste is an alternative to GitHub's Gist. To quote the author:

This is an alternative to gist.github.com. It allows you to deploy and create your own gist.github.com-like application. It is useful in an environment where you may not be able to use gist.github.com or alternatives.

I didn't create this of course, but I've got my own fork and somehow managed to sneak a few of my features into the creator's repo.
